Lush Yellow submarine bath bomb

Whenever Lush bring out anything new I end up like a meerkat, I pop up out of know where and scope out the scene for what I want to try. When I first spotted the yellow submarine on all the Lush summit photos I knew it would be one I wanted to get my hands on. After a long wait I finally picked it up last month and I want to share with you my thoughts on it in case you fancy picking it up!

Superdrug face make up sponge

I was having a look around Superdrug a few weeks back just seeing what was new when I spotted this range of face sponges they have in their own brand section for just £1 and I knew I had to give it a go and pit it against my Real Techniques blending sponge as I love that one and always want to find something that is equally as good but slightly more budget friendly. I knew this had to be given a test to see how I got on with it.

Kiehls Olive fruit shampoo and conditioner

When I went to a Kiehl's event a few months ago, find the post here if you want to check out the post, we got given a little goody bag of samples to try and I was really excited to be introduced to more of the products. I was so excited to find a shampoo and conditioner in the goody bag as I wouldn't think to get hair care from Kiehl's as it just isn't the first thing my mind jumps to when I think about the brand. I have been testing these out and really getting to see what they perform like together and I want to share my thoughts on them with you all!

Nottingham street food Jazz and Gin evening

The lovely ladies over at Intu Victoria Centre sent over an invite to their evening of Gin and Jazz within the Street food club which sounded like an amazing opportunity to try out the food, meet up with some lovely bloggers and enjoy a drink or two! I headed into Nottingham after work and squeezed in a bit of shopping before going to the event, be sure there is a haul coming when I have picked up a few more bits and done a bit more shopping! I met up with the other bloggers who are all so lovely and we headed into the event to see what it was all about.

Planning for autumn fashion

Yep, I am probably crazy. However I feel I am justified in this post as I went into a couple of shops yesterday and I started to notice peaks of autumn shining through. This was things like ankle boots, and a few jumpers and I just feel like the next 'big' shopping trip I will do will probably be full of autumn things as I don't have any proper summer holidays planned so if we do have a weekend or a week away in the UK I have clothes I can wear for it. I am delightfully excited for Christmas already but I especially love autumn fashion, the cosy, but not too cold weather makes it feel so comfy and amazing that I just love putting on jumpers and cuddling up under blankets.

Lipcote

Do you ever get a product and think it will completely change your make up game? After all the amazing things I heard about Lipcote from both friends and blog posts I finally gave in and began to try it out. I have issues with lipstick staying on mainly when I eat, but I find some of the more glossy finish lip colours wear off quicker than I would like and I hoped this would give them the long lasting boost I wish they had.

Models own nail polish Glitz and Glam

I am either someone who never goes without nail polish or goes months without painting my nails. Due to the recent events and the hospital stay I had to remove my nail polish and didn't quite end up repainting them and feel like I have been without nail polish for months. I have recently broken the spell with this beautiful blue glitter shade that really drew me in and peaked my interested. I know its not the most summer themed polish but I am really enjoying the colour.
